Job Summary
Analyze patient health data business requirements and translate them into Informatica Powercenter ETL code for admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, human resource, payroll, Medicaid, and Pharmacy data. Collaborate as a team lead to design database architecture using Kimball methodologies and Star schema design. Extract metadata, implement Fine Grain Access Control Audit to protect PHI, and code complex UNIX scripts to validate files and monitor workflows. Perform administration including installation, patching, and deployment of ETL code across all platforms. Requires 84+ months of Informatica and Oracle experience, 60 months with UNIX/Linux, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- IT Specialist
- 84+ months experience in the field of Information Technology
- 84 months experience using Informatica Powercenter 10.5.x or higher and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud in a data warehouse environment
- 84 months experience with Informatica Powercenter Administration including Installation, Patching, Metadata analysis, ETL code migration, and repository optimization
- 84 months experience analyzing and converting, heterogenous Health systems data, including admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, human resource, payroll, Medicaid and Pharmacy data into complex ETL code
- 84 months experience in relational data management disciplines and design and development using Oracle technologies including designing and implementing Oracle Virtual Private Database(VPD) and Oracle Fine grained Auditing (FGACA) in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment to protect Health Care data such as Medicaid, Pharmacy, and HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI)
- 60 months experience working with UNIX and or LINUX Operating Systems
- 60 months experience collaborating with developers as a team lead in designing Powercenter ETL and database architecture using advanced data warehousing concepts
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business intelligence, information science or related field
