Job Summary
Supervise Home Behavior Crisis Interventionists working with youth in Rockland and Orange Counties who have intellectual or developmental disabilities at risk of separation from families. Lead team huddles and staff meetings, determine referral appropriateness, and decide when cases are ready to close while seeing approximately one case at a time. Assist families in applying for OPWDD or OMH services and attend CSE meetings as appropriate. Requires an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT with experience in clinical supervision and youth with IDD. Full-time role in Middletown, NY with bi-lingual skills a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to navigate electronic health record
- Able to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to demonstrate flexibility in adjusting work plan for the day to best meet the needs of the families
- LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
- Experience with youth with IDD and/or behavioral health diagnoses
- Experience with clinical supervision
- Driver's license
- Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
- Must be able to move in tight spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish or English/Creole a plus
