Job Summary
Hazwoper Technician level 1 will assist in emergency response, industrial cleaning, and hazardous/non-hazardous waste handling. Responsibilities include handling various products, performing biohazard cleanups, staging/profiling/disposal prep for waste, assisting in soil/debris removal and spill cleanup, operating and cleaning equipment, and maintaining work logs in compliance with state/federal regulations. Requires outdoor work in all weather, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and completion/maintenance of multiple certifications (HAZWOPER, OSHA 10/30, MSHA, CSE/R, CPR, First Aid). Travel up to 25% as needed; role involves both office and physical jobsite environments.
Required Qualifications
- HAZWOPER Certification
- Confined Space Entry/Rescue (CSE/R) Certification
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certifications
- MSHA Certification
- H2S Certification
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Class C (Texas) or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and perform mathematics
