HAZMAT General Laborer /Field Service Technician I

Conduct hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, and equipment decontamination while operating light and heavy equipment, powered industrial tools, and vehicles in compliance with DOT and federal regulations. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including respirators and work in various temperatures, confined spaces, and elevated noise levels. Assist in field sampling activities, inspect drums for integrity, and safely load and unload waste streams. Perform strenuous physical labor involving lifting heavy objects and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Work extended periods including weekends and holidays as required for emergency response rotations. Complete mandatory two-week training academy and attend all safety update meetings.
