Job Summary
Hazardous Waste Chemist needed to conduct chemical and physical analyses to isolate, identify, and quantify components of hazardous waste, analyze organic and inorganic compounds, process and label waste, perform sampling and inspections, maintain equipment and work areas, participate in chemical waste removals for government contracts and HHW collections, and train new Hazardous Waste Chemists. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and the role involves hands-on analytical work, waste handling, tank cleanouts, and adherence to safety protocols in a Plainwell, MI facility.
