Job Summary
Receive cash from customers or associates for goods and services while performing product scanning, order processing, and tender handling. Maintain positive customer relations by answering phone calls with proper etiquette and assisting with store maintenance and cleaning. Oversee store operations when left in-charge, ensuring all safety policies and department procedures are followed. Complete fixed activities as assigned by the Store Director.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- Food Handler's Certification as required by State Law
- Basset certificate (stores with gaming)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand regularly (Over 2/3 of the time)
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to walk frequently (Between 1/3 to 2/3 of the time)
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to crouch
- Ability to crawl
- Ability to climb occasionally (Less than 1/3 of the time)
