Job Summary
Drive passenger vans for JTB Hawaii customers around Waikiki and Ala Moana, delivering safe, efficient transportation with strong customer service. Perform Pre/Post-Trip inspections and report documentation; operate the Mobi tablet; comply with DOT/state regulations; assist with loading/unloading passengers and baggage; maintain situational awareness and safe driving practices across varied weather and traffic conditions. Shift coverage from early morning to late night, with potential overtime; requires Hawaii driver’s license, DOT qualification, and proficiency in English. Must be able to read dispatch documents and safety procedures and have knowledge of the Waikiki area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Active Hawaii driver’s license
- Clear driving abstract
- DOT Physical Medical Certificate of Physical Qualification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret dispatch documents, safety procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to read/write in English
- Knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands, geography, culture, and history
- Ability to drive vans and utilize Mobi tablet
