Hawaii High Value Residential Insurance Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive on-site inspections of high-value residential properties throughout Hawaii, documenting custom construction features, high-end finishes, and unique architectural elements. Capture detailed measurements, photographs, and site observations to identify potential underwriting concerns, hazards, and loss exposures. Develop accurate replacement cost estimates and submit complete, timely web-based reports via Loss Control 360 that meet carrier-specific guidelines. Professionally interact with homeowners and insurance agents via phone, email, and in-person to schedule and manage inspections. This independent contractor role requires proficiency with diagramming software and strong construction knowledge, offering flexibility to work in your local market while building supplemental income.
Required Qualifications
- Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer
- A late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance
- High speed internet
- Digital Camera or Smart phone with 16mp camera or greater
- measuring devices such as: laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel
Desired Qualifications
- Prior underwriting experience desirable
- Prior inspection experience on residential homes desirable
- Loss control experience desirable
- Construction experience desired, but not required
- BA or BS degree desired, but not required
- Experience in insurance adjusting, construction management, real estate appraisal, or luxury home building is highly valued
