Job Summary
Support store operations by acting as Manager-on-Duty, providing daily direction to customers and team members, and ensuring all departments remain properly merchandised and operationally sound. Greet customers on the sales floor to assist with textbook, merchandise, or service purchases while maintaining an appealing environment through tagging, shelving, and organizing. Assign work to team members to manage multiple projects and process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments. Utilize analytical skills to make day-to-day operational decisions based on campus needs. Full-time positions require at least 30 weekly hours year-round with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Full-time positions require availability to work at least 30 hours on a weekly basis year round
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a retail setting as a manager or buyer preferred
- graduate of the Best Seller Program
