Haustechniker (m/w/d)

Haustechniker responsible for responding to guest repair requests and coordinating with guests to resolve maintenance issues. Performs preventive maintenance on hotel tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, and conducts inspections of machinery. Operates and tests shut-offs and utility controls, maintains inventory and requisitions parts, and communicates daily activities across shifts. Demonstrates knowledge (or ability to acquire) in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish work, kitchen equipment, vehicle systems, energy conservation, and general building operations. Performs surface preparation, painting, drywall and wood trim repairs, light bulb and A/C filter replacements, and thorough cleanup of work areas. Troubleshoots and repairs plumbing, electrical components (switches, outlets, lamps), and guestroom items; programs TVs and handles engineering-related inventory. Uses Lockout/Tagout before maintenance work; conducts interior/exterior landscaping repairs and sprinkler maintenance. Maintains basic computer skills for inputting air handler schedules and making temperature adjustments. Adheres to safety policies, reports hazards, completes safety training, stores flammable materials properly, maintains professional appearance, supports team goals, and communicates clearly with colleagues. Must be able to move objects up to 50 pounds, navigate stairs and ladders, and operate computers for work-related information. Performs other reasonable duties as assigned. Preferably has educational background of a high school diploma or GED; prior experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, exterior/interior painting, and hotel engineering/maintenance is a plus, with no supervisory experience required.
