Job Summary
Lead entertaining 40-minute haunted carriage tours through historic downtown Charleston, sharing ghost stories, legends, folklore, and local history with guests from around the world. Safely drive our beautiful draft horses while answering questions about the city's attractions and providing local recommendations. Deliver a fun, energetic, and memorable experience using your storytelling ability and stage presence, operating between 5 PM and 10:30 PM with flexible evening scheduling. Comprehensive paid training prepares you to confidently lead tours and safely operate our horse-drawn carriages.
Required Qualifications
- A confident, engaging personality with a flair for storytelling
- A passion for history, culture, and working with animals
- Commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
- General open availability for giving tours weekly (weekdays and weekends)
- Applicants must be able to stand and balance on board moving vehicle
- Valid Drivers License
