Job Summary
Conduct daily pre-shift inspections on haul trucks and report needed repairs to the supervisor. Safely and efficiently operate haul trucks loaded with rock within the quarry while adhering to company guidelines and MSHA safety rules. Perform preventative maintenance, service mobile equipment, and maintain product piles to aid loader production. Operate pit and yard loaders as needed and assist in training co-workers. Maintain good housekeeping of all equipment and perform minor maintenance and repairs on the haul truck.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used processing plants
Desired Qualifications
- six (6) months experience as a haul truck driver or other related experience
