Job Summary
Operate haul trucks loaded with rock within quarry guidelines and safety standards while performing pre-shift inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on mobile equipment. Break down surge piles and maintain product piles to aid loader production, and safely operate pit and yard loaders as needed. Participate in safety inspections and the plant safety program, adhering to company and MSHA regulations. Report needed repairs to the supervisor and assist in co-worker training when assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used processing plants
Desired Qualifications
- six (6) months experience as a haul truck driver or other related experience
