Haul Truck Driver | Day Shift | Mill Creek Quarry

Job Summary
Operate a 100-ton off-road haul truck to transport crushed stone from the pit to the primary crusher and move materials between stockpiles. Perform pre-shift safety inspections, report needed repairs, and ensure cargo is properly loaded per safety requirements. Assist in plant maintenance, perform preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, and support various plant operations as needed. Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules while communicating vehicle movement via CB radio or hand signals. Complete daily reports and maintain good housekeeping of equipment. Work 12-hour shifts, possible weekends, overtime, and holidays in all weather conditions. New hire orientation and mandatory safety training are required at the Dallas Corporate Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment
- 1+ years of related experience
- previous haul trick driver experience
- Experience with a variety of hand tools
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts

- Must be able to read and interpret gauges
- Possess basic mathematical aptitude
- Must be able to wear all required safety equipment
- Must be able to communicate over CB radio or with hand signals and warning sounds
- Must be able to perform duties in a safe manner
- Must be service oriented with proven ability to work in a TEAM environment
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- Must be able to operate hand/foot controls
- Possess good vision to perceive depth at close range and distances up to 150 feet
- Must be able to climb on and off equipment
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel in limited space
- Must be able to sit and operate equipment for long periods up to 10+ hours per day
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 90 dbs
- Must attend New Hire Orientation and Safety Training in person at our Corporate Office located in Dallas, Texas
- Attendance is mandatory and is a condition of employment
