Job Summary
CDL Driver to transport heavy equipment to various construction sites. Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, load/unload heavy equipment, secure cargo per safety regulations, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle status; adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols; communicate with dispatchers and customers; may operate tanker trucks and require Hazmat/Tanker endorsements. Travel between job sites and work in active construction environments with exposure to outdoor conditions; willingness to pass pre-employment drug test; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A preferred; Class B accepted
- Minimum of 3 years of experience hauling heavy equipment
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
