Haul Truck Driver - Aggregate

Job Summary
Operate off-road dump trucks to transport soil, rock, and aggregate across MSHA-regulated mining, quarry, or heavy construction sites. Conduct pre-shift, pre-trip, and post-trip inspections in compliance with MSHA standards, immediately reporting mechanical or safety issues. Maintain accurate equipment logs, inspection reports, and load counts while wearing required PPE including hard hats and high-visibility vests. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to ensure safe material movement on uneven terrain and in variable weather. Participate in MSHA safety meetings and site briefings, immediately reporting all hazards and near-misses. Perform basic equipment maintenance and assist in maintaining clean work areas. Requires MSHA Part 46 or 48 certification and one year of off-road truck experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MSHA Part 46 or Part 48 Certification required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Visual and hearing ability to detect hazards, signals, and alarms
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of experience operating off-road dump trucks in mining, quarry, or heavy civil construction environments preferred
