Job Summary
Welcome patrons, seat them at tables or in the lounge, and answer phones to schedule dining reservations. Direct waitstaff to ensure courteous and rapid service while resolving guest complaints or assisting with special requests. Inspect dining room stations for cleanliness, maintain adequate menu par levels, and thank guests upon departure. Review daily schedules, occupancy reports, and VIP details to assign work stations and personalize service. Manage seating to ensure efficient guest flow, handle disgruntled guests, and recommend resort facilities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requires TB clearance, ability to read/write, and comfort working indoors or in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Department of Health TB clearance
- Must be able to read and write to perform job duties
- Must be pleasant, friendly and smiling
- Must be at least 18 years of age if serving or selling alcoholic beverages
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
