Job Summary
Handle and set eggs in incubators, monitor temperature and humidity conditions, and assist with chick hatching and transfer. Perform quality checks on eggs and chicks, clean and sanitize equipment, and record data on egg counts and hatch rates. Follow strict biosecurity and sanitation protocols while operating specialized equipment in high-temperature environments. Push and pull 450 lb. buggies of chicks and eggs, ensuring proper handling and care during vaccination and transport preparation. Work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5 AM to 4 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Poultry or food industry experience
- Ability to multitask and work quickly
- Good communication skills both written and orally
- Ability to follow directions
- Team player
- Must be able to push/pull 450 lb. buggies (on wheels) of chicks and eggs
- Must not raise any poultry or birds
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
