Job Summary
Hatchery Driver to deliver day-old turkey poults and perform poultry farm-related hauling and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include delivering poults to company and contract farms, picking up egg racks from farms/hatcheries, maintaining mileage and logs, performing general truck maintenance (inspections, fueling, cleaning, sanitizing), pushing up to 1,000 lb egg racks, and following safety and biosecurity guidelines. Requires a current Class A CDL, an active medical card, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Prior driving experience (1+ year) or a certified driver-training program is expected. Required Qualifications
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- DOT medical exam certificate
- Authorized to work in United States
- 18 years or older
- At least 21 years old
- 1 year or more verifiable professional driving experience or certified driver training program
- Good communication and customer service skills
- No OWI conviction in past 5 years or pending
- Read, write and communicate in English
