Job Summary
Hatchery Associate responsible for transferring eggs from incubators to hatchers, processing chicks according to schedule, cleaning hatchery after processing chicks by washing and disinfecting hatcher racks, plastics and boxes, loading eggs into incubators, and accurately completing paperwork. Willing to work a split week approximately every three weeks (M & T 12:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. and TH & F 5:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.). Requires ability to lift 35 pounds repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, work well with others; no exposure to other poultry. EO E, including disability/vets.
