HARVEST SUPERVISOR

Monitor slaughter area by evaluating product and administering corrective procedures, including indirect job specification training. Coordinate attendance issues by filling vacant positions and minimize turnover rates. Conduct pre-operational inspections, set up equipment, submit maintenance orders, and audit product and employee safety throughout the shift. Maintain food, work, human resources, and safety policies while controlling waste and providing a sanitary environment. Greet personnel to foster a cohesive working environment. Process post-operational attendance information from the Kronos system and conduct monthly line meetings to address department issues. Work 50+ hours per week on the Harvest or Hides production floor with exposure to chemicals, machinery, knives, and loud noise. Schedule includes Monday through Friday with weekend work as required.
