Job Summary
Audit, document, and enforce USDA and facility regulations by performing checks to ensure food safety and quality programs are followed. Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and HACCP procedures while working with FSIS/USDA to present records per agency requests. Aid the Quality Assurance Supervisor in gathering data for investigations and work with production associates to monitor meat product AQL standards, correcting deficiencies and notifying management of violations. Maintain lab equipment through proper cleaning and regular maintenance. This role requires flexible hours, overtime, and weekend availability, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. Candidates must be willing to work in both hot and cold environments.
Required Qualifications
