Job Summary
Package customer purchases safely and in an organized fashion while retrieving shopping carts from the parking lot and removing debris. Respond to complaints with genuine concern, learn about Producers and Makers, and assist the Customer Service Manager in fostering a positive store atmosphere. Greet customers sincerely with a smile, engage them in casual conversation, and show respect toward their purchases. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all store, department, and safety policies as a safety role model. Perform fixed activities as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
