Job Summary
Seasonal Lab Intern supports fermentation monitoring, sampling from tanks/barrels, and wine analysis; performs analyses (Brix, TA, pH, alcohol, sulfur), prepares solutions, maintains chemicals, calibrates equipment, and tracks data using Excel and Innovint; assists with cellar additions and inoculations, and performs instrument maintenance; requires flexible schedule with weekend overtime during peak harvest; strong basic lab skills and ability to follow protocols are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in enology or science preferred; basic lab skills including pipetting and titration; ability to follow protocols; effective communication and interpersonal skills; intermediate reading, writing, and math; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
