Job Summary
Harvest Assistant Winemaker to support winemaking and quality assurance for Chardonnay and Bordeaux programs from fruit intake to barrel, collaborating with winemakers. Responsibilities include coordinating fruit receival, monitoring press progress and juice quality, supervising white juice racking and assessing optical sorter performance, daily fermentation oversight for white and red tanks, managing automated red pump-overs and punch-downs, inspecting barrels, preparing work orders, and providing guidance to cellar crew. Requires a degree in Oenology or Food Science, minimum of 3 completed harvests, international harvest experience is an asset, ability to work legally in Canada, reliable transportation, and independent accommodation; typical salary range is $60,000-$70,000 annually. Start date August 1, 2026; End date December 31, 2026. Location is West Kelowna, BC, Canada; on-site work. Include opportunities for team tastings and additional winemaking projects.
Required Qualifications
