Job Summary
Create wiring schematics, define routing and connection points, and select appropriate wires, connectors, and mounting materials. Draft mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation to support prototype development and production assembly. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production engineers to ensure designs meet mechanical, electrical, installation, and manufacturability requirements. This role is part of the Research & Development Team at Redwire Defense Tech's Riga facility, focusing on autonomous UAVs and electro-optical surveillance systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Energetic, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360)
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes related to harness systems
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in mechanical engineering
- Excellent communication and Teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical design and harness systems will be considered advantageous
