Schedule service work, greet customers, and obtain vehicle data while communicating to determine mechanical problems and explain maintenance needs. Secure approvals, document repair instructions, and provide accurate labor and parts estimates. Manage repair orders, invoices, and payments, then follow up on unsold repairs and progress updates. Handle telephone inquiries regarding work-in-progress and appointments, and deliver vehicles to customers. Maintain CSI ratings, dealership standards for hours and labor rates, and up-to-date service department forms. Complete required training and adhere to policies.
