Job Summary
Production Operator supports multiple areas of the GMP-compliant plant on 3rd shift. Duties include working in various production areas, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and documenting data per HACCP, GMP, SSOPs, and SQF. Responsibilities cover packaging/finishing, maintaining food safety and quality practices, assisting in equipment preparation and teardown, cleaning and organizing the work environment, performing basic maintenance, and adhering to safety guidelines. The role requires reading gauges, performing basic math calculations, and the ability to move throughout production areas with sustained physical effort; overtime may be required. The applicant should have a High School Diploma or GED (certification preferred) and a stable work history in agriculture, production, or manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. certification preferred
- Stable work history in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to follow written/verbal instruction and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of machinery and ability to prepare equipment for operation/tear down
- Ability to abide by good documentation procedures (GMP, HACCP, SSOPs, SQF)
- Physical ability for sustained effort and to move around production areas
- Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks as required
- Desire to cooperate with team and maintain safety standards
