Job Summary
Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, then prepare surfaces for hardwood installations. Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding before installing hardwood floors and resilient floor coverings. Inspect and repair damaged coverings, while measuring, cutting, and marking surfaces to be covered. Handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks requiring hand-eye coordination and bending, crouching, and kneeling. Requires a driver's license, own tools, and safety equipment including steel-toed boots, hard hats, and gloves. Earn $21-$27 per hour in Vernon.
