Hardware Verification Engineer
$140,900–$225,500 year
On-site · Agoura Hills, California, United States
Job Summary
Hardware Verification Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex electronic systems for advanced ATE platforms. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and validation of high-power and high-speed hardware such as compute carrier boards, power distribution, sensing, and communications. Architect and implement high-power/high-speed designs with redundant power domains and modern digital interfaces; design supporting electronics like protocol converters and system controllers; perform debugging using measurements and root-cause analysis; collaborate with internal teams to support DFM/DFA, on-site testing, bring-up, and pre-production validation; perform hands-on rework and rapid prototype builds for time-critical problems. Technical focus areas include system-level hardware design/integration, high-power electronics/power conversion, high-speed digital/mixed-signal design, and manufacturing bring-up/production support. Preferred experience includes direct ATE experience, safety-critical hardware design, high-speed interfaces/RF-adjacent systems, and power electronics/current sensing. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Compensation ranges from $140,900 to $225,500 base salary, with variability based on experience and location. Teradyne offers comprehensive benefits.
