Hardware Validation Engineer - High-Speed Interfaces (Optics, SERDES, Signal Integrity, Automation/AI) (4 to 8 Years)

Hardware Validation Engineer responsible for validating high-speed optical interfaces and host interfaces (1 Gbps to 224 Gbps per lane) across DAC, multimode, and single-mode solutions. Design and implement platform host test procedures, develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports, and drive validation through cross-functional collaboration. Leverage automation and scripting (e.g., Python) to build scalable test systems, integrate new test equipment, and improve coverage and efficiency. Perform compliance testing to industry standards (IEEE 802.3, OIF/CEI, SFF-8431) and support field issue root-cause analysis. Collaborate with system architects, software/diagnostics teams, and external vendors to ensure robust validation methodology and high product quality. Qualifications include hands-on experience with high-speed test equipment (oscilloscopes with CDR, BERT, OSA; network analyzers), knowledge of optical transceivers (SFP, QSFP, OSFP, QSFP-DD), and familiarity with instrument control and test automation.
