Job Summary
Design and refresh electronic circuits and systems for heat trace and leak detection controllers, creating schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs in Altium while managing obsolescence and revision releases. Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of controllers and systems, supporting manufacturing teams with test fixture fixes and new release coordination. Maintain legacy product documentation in PLM and coordinate VAVE activities to reduce production costs. Integrate with new product development teams for seamless handoff and support end-to-end test activities for NPI readiness. Assist in worldwide industrial re-approvals and re-certifications for hazardous areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 2+ years of circuit design experience with strong understanding of analog and digital electronics
- Proficiency with Altium for schematics, PCB layouts, BOM generation, and assembly documentation
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of production test fixture design and maintenance
- Firmware/Programming skills with C++, Labview, Python, C#
- Working knowledge of PLM change control (Enovia preferred) and fundamentals of ERP-facing documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to support manufacturing and engineering stakeholders
- Desire to be a contributing member of a strong and supportive team
