Job Summary
Hardware Technician for the Georgia Combat Training Center (CTC) program provides Contracted Logistic Support (CLS) and Exercise Support (ES) at the Joint Training Evaluation Center (JTEC) in Tbilisi, Georgia. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of system devices, software, AAR, and communications; researching and repairing malfunctions; maintaining archives of malfunctions and repairs; troubleshooting and repairing hardware/software; packing, shipping, customs clearance, and tracking of non-functional hardware; providing customer training on hardware/software usage and maintenance; delivering exercise support during training events; maintaining records and data; performing repairs/maintenance per the System Maintenance Manual; and preparing monthly maintenance reports. Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Computer Engineering, relevant experience, completion of contract training, and a background clearance with Georgia MOD approval. Occasional OCONUS travel is required.
