Job Summary
Configure, image, and deploy Windows 10 and 11 laptops and Apple macOS devices for dental practices. Install, update, and validate software for dental scanning systems, then prepare and test all equipment prior to shipment to ensure operational readiness. Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on laptops and oral scanners, performing root cause analysis to identify recurring failures and recommend permanent solutions. Coordinate warranty repairs and RMAs with manufacturers, maintain accurate inventory records, and document troubleshooting procedures to contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on hardware support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS
- Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
- Understanding of laptop hardware components including memory, SSDs, motherboards, wireless networking, USB devices, and docking stations
- Experience imaging and configuring Windows computers
- Ability to isolate technical problems through structured troubleshooting
- Experience working with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and technical support
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting medical or dental technology
- Familiarity with intraoral scanners or 3D scanning technology
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or other endpoint management platforms
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Experience working with inventory management systems
- Apple hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- Dell/HP enterprise hardware experience
