Job Summary
Hardware Technician to support IT services by provisioning hardware, installing and configuring devices per SOPs, maintaining inventory, and documenting deployments. Responsibilities include inbound IT support, basic troubleshooting (hardware, software, network), creating and updating documentation, visiting customer sites for hardware setup, and contributing to IT process improvements. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; degree in IT/CS preferred. Must be able to lift 30 pounds, have reliable transportation, and be available for a Monday–Friday schedule in Atlanta, GA. The role emphasizes customer-focused service, collaboration with the IT team, and hands-on hardware provisioning with routine use of Autotask, IT Glue, and monday.com.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of database management systems
- Pursuing or completed degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
