Job Summary
Hardware/Software Co-Design Engineer to deliver micro-architecture and RTL implementations of digital IPs and systems for high-throughput, low-power DSPs and hardware accelerators in brain-computer interface SoCs. Responsibilities include RTL design of low-power DSPs, GPUs, MAC/PHY, and serial links; architecture optimization; workload modeling and energy/performance profiling; collaboration on silicon bring-up with verification engineers; and interfacing with firmware. Required skills include SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python; embedded software in C or Rust; experience from architecture through RTL; and a BS in EE/CS or related field (or equivalent). Preferred qualifications cover architecture optimization, verification, physical design, and tool-flow automation. Expected base salary range is $151,000–$261,000 USD plus RSU equity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Evidence of exceptional ability in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
- Experience designing and implementing embedded software in C or Rust
- Expertise in SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python
- Experience designing and implementing emulation models, transactors, and test environments to replicate hardware behavior
- Experience working on complex digital systems from architecture, microarchitecture, and RTL, using industry standard tools
- Experience in designing digital signal processing pipelines, from algorithm to RTL
