Job Summary
Hands-on hardware reliability engineering role leading testing/validation for advanced computing hardware. Responsibilities include developing reliability test plans, overseeing shock/vibration/thermal cycling/environmental stress testing, defining test requirements, collaborating with design teams to analyze results, creating custom test setups, and leading root cause analysis documented in reliability reports. Requires 5+ years in reliability or test engineering for electronics or mechanical systems, knowledge of MIL-STD-810 or ISTA, experience with vibration/HALT/HASS/thermal stress testing, understanding of thermal design and heat management, and a mechanical/related bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in reliability or test engineering for electronics or mechanical systems
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 or ISTA
- Experience with vibration, HALT/HASS, or thermal stress testing
- Understanding of thermal design and heat management principles
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master’s a plus)
