Job Summary
Hardware Operations Program Manager at Gritt Robotics to act as a chief of staff for the hardware org, driving program management, procurement, supply chain, and field-deployment readiness. Responsibilities include enabling leads with prep and coordination, maintaining timelines from design freeze to field deployment, running cadence and standups, unblocking engineers, communicating risks to leadership, sourcing off-the-shelf parts and managing vendors, tracking POs and BOMs, de-risking long-lead items like LiDAR and compute modules, ensuring assemblies are tested and field-ready before shipping, coordinating with deployment teams for on-site installation, and driving a defined test and acceptance loop for each system. Requires 3–6 years of experience in hardware/robotics/manufacturing environments, strong organization, and ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs; experience with ERP/MRP, PLM, CAD tools, and procurement tools is listed as desirable. Location is on-site in Belmont, CA, US, with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in technical program management, chief of staff, operations, or procurement
- comfortable reading mechanical drawings and BOMs
- experience with hardware procurement and supplier management
- on-site, hands-on coordination across hardware teams
- ability to build and manage schedules, task lists, and sprint plans
- strong cross-functional coordination and communication with engineering, suppliers, and leadership
