Job Summary
Hardware Installation Technician II tasked with installing and supporting Windows-based computer systems, imaging software on laptops/workstations, preparing computers for deployments, and assisting with hardware peripherals. Will coordinate with management on inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping; help ensure deliverables meet guidelines and assist in developing customer-process documents. Travel to customer sites for deployment activities including site surveys, installations, and hardware/software checks; perform duties to support deployments and shipping. Requires active interim Secret clearance and ability to travel to Washington, DC; strong troubleshooting abilities, customer service experience, and proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma + 5 years IT experience
- BS + 3 years IT experience
- Active interim Secret clearance or above
- Must have ability to travel to Washington, DC to deploy equipment
- Must be able to type
- Experience troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- Experience in customer service
- Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
