Job Summary
Lead interconnect engineering efforts to bring next-generation high-speed interconnect components from concept to production for Cisco products. Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, drive supplier engagement and qualification activities, and optimize connectivity pathways with focus on signal integrity, mechanical robustness, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Leverage expertise in materials, plating, and fabrication processes to deliver technically sound, cost-effective components, and shape the product lifecycle through strong program leadership and collaboration with business units, suppliers, and extended supply chain.
Required Qualifications
- BSME/BSEE or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with interconnect and connector technologies at the application and component level
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers
- Strong mechanical and electrical design knowledge including tolerance analysis, fabrication methods, materials selection, plating, and validation testing
- Familiarity with Signal Integrity fundamentals
- Strong program management and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to leadership
- Experience with system-level design of networking equipment or interconnects (preferred)
