Job Summary
Assist in the design, prototype, and testing of new hardware components and systems, including processors, circuit boards, and memory devices. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure hardware and software integration, while analyzing and troubleshooting hardware-related issues to provide solutions and improvements. Support the test team with system setup, test execution, and documenting results, and contribute input for technical documentation such as schematics and test reports. Participate in multidisciplinary team projects focusing on hardware production, validation, and process improvements to ensure products meet quality and compliance standards. Work a 9/80 schedule with non-standard hours in a general office and equipment lab environment.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active security clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance
- Subject to a US security background investigation
- Favorable background investigation
- Credit score
- Ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements
- May be expected to lift up to 25 lbs
- Frequent use of keyboard and typing
- Frequent sitting and standing
- 9/80 work schedule
- Bachelor of Science in STEM field
