Job Summary
Hardware Engineer needed to design power and cost-efficient X86 server system architecture, perform schematics capture and layout planning, run design validation tests, and collaborate with validation engineers. Responsibilities include BOM generation, debugging, testing against power/signal integrity targets, creating technical documentation, and transferring products to contract manufacturers. Requires hands-on experience with PCB design for servers, debugging and documentation skills, and familiarity with MATLAB, Verilog, and C; strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment. Location-based on US HQ in San Jose, CA; on-site role.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE with 4+ years or MSEE with 2+ years of hands-on experience
- Knowledge of PCB design, storage and HPC systems, and high-speed signal design experience
- Familiar with oscilloscope and various serial bus analyzers lab equipment
- System and component debugging skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with ability to lead the project in fast-paced environment
- Familiar with OSes, MATLAB, Verilog and C programming languages
