Job Summary
Design and develop electronic hardware for intrusion security products, including schematics, PCB layouts, and circuit simulations. Support new product development and sustaining engineering by defining features, selecting components, managing EOL/PCN risks, and performing root cause analysis on failures. Bring up designs, execute prototype testing, and collaborate with firmware and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in Value Engineering initiatives, design reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Professional experience in electronic hardware design, ideally in product development and/or mixed-signal (analog/digital) electronics
- Experience designing and analyzing electronic circuits
- Practical experience with schematics and PCB design
- Strong hands-on skills in electronic measurements, debugging and troubleshooting
- Ability to independently analyze designs, identify issues and propose robust, production-ready solutions
- Understanding of component selection, availability risks and product lifecycle considerations
- Experience working with prototypes and supporting hardware through testing and production
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proactive attitude and ability to take ownership of technical tasks
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or currently completing a relevant degree
- Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics
- Basic ability to read and understand electronic schematics
- Good spoken and written English
- Proactive attitude, analytical thinking and ability to work collaboratively
- Willingness to learn and develop practical hardware engineering skills under the guidance of experienced engineers
Desired Qualifications
- Academic, internship or personal-project experience with electronic circuits, microcontrollers or embedded hardware
- Familiarity with laboratory measurement equipment
- Experience designing hardware for intrusion, security or other safety-critical systems
- Experience with mixed-signal electronic design
- Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Knowledge of EDA tools such as Altium Designer, CADSTAR or PADS
- Experience with Value Engineering and/or sustaining engineering
- Familiarity with component lifecycle management, including EOL, PCN and supply-risk management
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and cooperation with production/factory teams
- Experience supporting products through qualification, certification and mass production
- Experience with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with internationally distributed R&D and manufacturing teams
