Job Summary
Hardware Engineer (IST) for Cebu, Philippines to support PCBA development and hardware engineering activities for Teradyne products. Responsibilities include supporting the US hardware engineering team in PCBA development, attending product development and kickoff meetings, creating board schematic designs from customer requirements, generating commodity-part requests, processing ECNs to modify designs, guiding PCB designers on part placement and routing, performing QA inspections, creating PCBA design validation test plans, conducting design validations on new boards/board revisions, reviewing AVL issues and providing resolutions, coordinating with hardware/applications engineers and designers, and traveling to the North Reading factory for final verification as needed. Must have BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, be able to interpret schematics, handle lab equipment, communicate effectively, interface across organizations, and be willing to travel internationally. Note: visa sponsorship not available and relocation is not offered.
