Job Summary
Design, develop, and test high-performance Ethernet switching products for enterprise and embedded applications, supporting the full lifecycle from concept to production. Maintain and enhance existing hardware designs while collaborating on new product architecture and peer reviews. Perform detailed analysis of chip-to-chip interfaces to validate electrical characteristics and troubleshoot systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal integrity simulations. Work closely with software engineering teams to develop test and production code, ensuring seamless hardware/software integration. Minimum 5+ years of hardware design experience required, with 10Gbit Ethernet expertise highly desired. BSEE equivalent or higher education expected.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of Ethernet and high-speed digital design (high-speed signal & power integrity)
- Cadence OrCAD Schematic capture
- Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers
- Prior experience selecting and making PCB mounted power supplies work (for instance, making sure they are stable, meet ripple and noise requirements etc.)
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook etc)
- Minimum 5+ years of Hardware Design
- BSEE equivalent or higher
- Proficient in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication to collaborate effectively within a technical team

- Cadence Allegro layout
- 10Gbit Ethernet hardware design experience
- 40 Gbit and/or 100 Gbit Ethernet
- 10+ years of Hardware Design
