Job Summary

Hardware Engineer for Critical Infrastructure Communications (CIC) at GE Grid Solutions: design and layout of digital, analog, and RF circuitry; develop production-ready hardware documentation; manage ECAD components; validate circuit-level designs and ensure compliance with safety, emissions, and testing standards; collaborate with an international team across product lifecycle from concept through production; hands-on lab work with PCB schematic capture, layout, testing, and troubleshooting; experience with Altium Designer and exposure to Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI, EMC/CE/FCC environments; strong communication within cross-functional teams and with manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of hardware design experience and product development
