Job Summary
Architect system block diagrams with major Networking ASIC suppliers and design next-generation switches. Review schematics, layout, bring-up, troubleshooting, and design validation while collaborating with tier one ODM/JDM partners. Specify technical product documentation and lead reviews, working closely with cross-functional teams through all NPI phases to bring products to market. Triage, debug, and root cause major customer issues during sustaining stages. Participate in process improvement and innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors + 7 years of related experience
- Masters + 4 years of related experience
- PhD + 1 year of related experience
- equivalent related work experience
- Some previous supervisory or team lead experience
- Prior experience working with multi-gigabit Ethernet and Power-over Ethernet (PoE) technology
- Prior experience with schematics/layout, Hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, system level testing
- Previous experience with working with Software team on system bring-up and porting, devices configuration (registers level)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with Networking technologies and concepts
- Prior experience working on high volume and cost-sensitive product
- Experience with bringing product to production
- Experience with working with teams on different time-zones
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills, while being self-motivated with a focus on execution
