Job Summary
As our Hardware Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by analyzing embedded device performance, participating in hardware product design (electrical, PCB, RF) and firmware development (low-level drivers, BSPs, BLE stack control), supporting NPI activities and regulatory certifications, and preparing manufacturing documentation and samples for testing and certifications. You’ll have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 1-3 years embedded hardware design experience, including RF/low power wireless, and experience with regulatory documentation. The role involves regular in-office work in Vancouver, Canada (40 hours/week) with remote-work exceptions possible up to 30 days per year.
