Job Summary
Hands-on Electrical Engineer specializing in end-to-end circuit card development for a common avionics platform used across launch vehicles and spacecraft. Own schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, simulations, and rapid prototyping for flight hardware; collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and test engineering to deliver high-performance hardware; lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; follow aerospace guidelines for electronic assemblies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on PCB design, hardware development, and integration experience
- Strong skills in schematic capture and layout for digital, analog, and power circuits; proficiency with Altium (or similar) preferred
- Competent at end-to-end definition, requirement generation, block-diagram design, component selection and circuit simulations
- Experience with component selection, circuit simulation/analysis, and electrical troubleshooting/root-cause
- Experienced using test equipment to verify component and circuit functionality
- Excellent organizational skills, and experience working with vendors
- Ability to work well with others, be proactive, and execute with minimal guidance
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations
