Job Summary
Design and test new integrated circuits and hardware components for signal processing applications, including ASIC and FPGA development. Create physical implementations using place and route tools, develop firmware for programmable devices, and conduct reverse engineering to analyze existing hardware. Modify vendor-manufactured components to meet special Government needs by de-processing electronic components and retrieving stored firmware. Lead product design processes, provide technical guidance on complex projects, and integrate new design libraries into the Government's computer-aided design environment.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Full-Scope Poly
- Three (3) years experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering of the same
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
